Once you sign in to Smoothwall On-Premise Appliance or Cloud Portal, you may find that you don’t have access to everything you expect.
Check your permissions
Your access depends on whether you have full Administrator access or are limited to certain areas. Contact your organisation’s IT or Smoothwall Administrator to confirm what access you should have for On-Premise Appliance or Cloud.
In Cloud, if you have been given access to Filter and Reporting but not the Admin Panel:
- You can access both areas using the same account if the same email address was used.
- If a different email address has been used for each account, switch between accounts to access Filter and Reporting.
Check your licensing
Your available features depend on the package your organisation purchased.
- Check your licence details.
- Contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss your package and available features.
Check your On-Premise Appliance setup
- Ensure you have installed the modules you need.
- Some features are only available for certain Releases, such as those not available in Maiden.
