You can add as many users as you need to manage the different areas in Smoothwall Cloud Portal.
Note
- The areas you can give access to depend on your Smoothwall licence package.
- If you have a Hybrid setup (Cloud Portal and On-Premise Appliance), you must manage On-Premise Administrators in the On-Premise Appliance.
There are two types of access for the Smoothwall Cloud Portal:
- Full Cloud Administrator access: A user with full Administrator access is a Default Cloud Administrator. They have access to the Admin Panel, Cloud Filter and Cloud Reporting.
-
Access to specific areas: You can give access to filtering or reporting without allowing them to edit the Cloud Portal configuration. You select their role when you add a user to Cloud Filter or Cloud Reporting.
-
Administrator access:
- Can manage Cloud Filter or Cloud Reporting Administrators.
- In a multi-tenant setup, they can see information from all available tenants.
-
Filtering or Reporting access:
- Can’t manage Cloud Filter or Cloud Reporting Administrators.
- In a multi-tenant setup, users only see information for the tenant they are linked to.
-
Administrator access:
Once you have decided what access to give, you can add your Administrators.
