You can use the default Image and Video Blurring settings or customise them to suit your organisation’s needs.
Sign in to Cloud Portal, and go to Filter > Content Aware.
Important
After you change settings, select Save Changes to push your changes to the Image and Video Blurring Extension. You don’t need to use the Publishing page for this feature.
General settings
Select the General tab.
Excluded Domains
Add websites where you don’t want images and videos blurred to the Excluded Domains section, in the Domain and subdomain exclusions box. You can add:
- Individual domains (example.com).
- Subdomains (test.example.com).
- A domain and all its subdomains using a wildcard (*.example.com).
Press Enter to add an item, or select X to remove an item.
Guilt by Association
Select or clear the Turn on Guilt by Association checkbox. By default, this setting is on.
Tip
To blur content for a Category, you must have detection turned on for that Category. For example, to blur videos with Gore, select the Gore detection checkbox on the Video tab.
Image and Video settings
Select the Image or Video tab.
You can reset your settings to the default by selecting Reset Image settings or Reset Video settings. After you reset the settings, you can't restore your previous configuration.
Categories
To turn Image and Video blurring on or off, select or clear the detection checkboxes for each Category. You can adjust the sensitivity by selecting Low, Medium or High.

Block Video
By default, this setting is off. To turn it on, go to the Video tab and in the Block Video section, select the Block Video checkbox.
Excluded YouTube channels
By default, when turned on for a Category, Video Blurring blurs inappropriate videos from all YouTube channels.
To add exceptions:
- Go to the Video tab.
- In the Excluded YouTube channels section, enter the channel name from the URL (for example, @ChannelName) in the YouTube channels box.
- Press Enter to add a channel, or select X to remove a channel.
