Install the Image and Video Blurring Extension on Windows using Domain Group Policy Object (GPO)

This article provides instructions for deploying Image and Video Blurring to Windows devices using Group Policy.

Before you begin

• Ensure you have installed Cloud Filter Extension on the devices.
• Decide on your Image and Video Blurring settings.

Deploy the Extension

1. In Group Policy Management, Edit the GPO you used to deploy the Cloud Filter Extension.
2. Go to Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates (ADMX). Select Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, then Extensions.
3. Add the extension:
   1. Select Control which extensions are installed silently, select Enabled, and then select Show.
   2. In the Show Contents window, enter the Extension ID and Download URL, separated by a semicolon epkahbohdeajpadlmelfkenmoeblkpem;https://download.qoria.com/browser/content-aware-uk
   3. Select OK, Apply, then OK.
4. Add the install source:
   1. Select Configure extension, app, and user script install sources, select Enabled, then select Show.
   2. In the Show Contents window, enter this value: https://download.qoria.com/browser/*
   3. Select OK, Apply, then OK.
5. Force pinning of the Extension:
   1. Select Configure extension management settings, then select Enabled.
   2. In the Options: Configure extension management settings window, enter this value: { "epkahbohdeajpadlmelfkenmoeblkpem":{"override_update_url": true,"toolbar_pin": "force_pinned"}}
   3. Select OK, Apply, then OK.
6. Save the changes.
