The Android Filter app provides real-time filtering and seamlessly integrates with your existing Smoothwall Cloud Filter to enforce your policies.
Use the Android Filter App on:
- Managed Android devices.
- ChromeOS devices with the Cloud Filter extension. This provides whole-device filtering and extends protection to apps.

Device compatibility and requirements
The Android Filter App is compatible with a broad range of managed Android devices, including tablets and smartphones, with these requirements:
- Android 11.0 (Red Velvet Cake) or higher.
- A Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to manage devices for deployment and management.
The Android Filter App is also available for ChromeOS devices running version 122 or higher.
