The Smoothwall Diagnostics page can be accessed on each device on a network using Cloud Filter, such as an iPad. You can see licensing, connection, filtering and user details to help troubleshoot issues. For example:
- The Directory Group is absent or wrong because you’ve not synced or synced an incorrect Google or Azure Directory.
- The Outside Premises field shows as Not configured.
- The devices are in Filter Mode 1.

On a device using Cloud Filter Extension
- Sign in to the user’s device.
- Check for the Smoothwall logo next to the browser address bar. If you don’t see the logo, you will need to enable the extension first to be able to use the Diagnostics page.

- Enter smoothwall://

Image 3: Press Space or Tab. - Enter Diagnostics and select the Smoothwall Diagnostics result.

- Select Copy to clipboard to copy the information. Paste this information into the ticket you’ve raised with us.

On an iPad using Smoothwall Browser
- Open a browser.
- Open the menu and go to Settings > Diagnostics.
- Select the Share button (square with an arrow icon) at the top of the screen to copy the information. Paste this information into the ticket you’ve raised with us.

On a device using the Android Filter app
- Open the Android Filter app.
- Tap the banner under This device is being protected.

- Select the Copy to clipboard icon at the bottom to copy the information. Paste this information into the ticket you’ve raised with us.
