You can see a log of websites the device’s user has tried to access, as well as whether access was allowed or blocked, using Real Time Filtering Log Viewer. You’ll also see the Category the content was categorised as, so you can decide whether changes to your Web Filter Policies are needed.
Note
Only activity with a Log Level of 3, 4 or 5 are included in the logs. You can’t view access logs for Log Levels 1 or 2.

Usernames can either be the hostname of the target computer (for example, for Windows devices it’ll look like hostname//gwynm) or usernames (for example, for Chromebooks it’ll look like gwynm@domain.com).
- Select the device from the drop-down. If you get a message that says ‘No devices for the selected username’, check the username entered.
- Select Start Realtime Log Viewer.
The list updates live. When the browsing session ends, the logs no longer show after five minutes. To switch off updates and prevent current logs from disappearing, select Stop Realtime Log Viewer.
