Important: Move to the new Qoria Filter for Android App

We’ve released a new version of the Qoria Filter for Android app, which provides real-time filtering that seamlessly integrates with Smoothwall Cloud Filter, ensuring your policies are consistently applied.

What’s happening?

The new Qoria Filter for Android app replaces the old version, which is now the only version available for new installations. This means:

  • We don’t provide documentation, training or support for the old version.
  • We can’t guarantee the old version will continue to work, and we will not fix any product issues you encounter.
  • The old version won’t receive updates or support new product features.

Move to Qoria Filter for Android

Step 1: Remove the previous deployment

  1. Sign in to Microsoft Intune Admin Center.
  2. Remove the old app:
    1. Go to Apps > Android.
    2. Select Smoothwall Filter from the list of apps.
    3. Select Properties.
    4. Select Edit next to Assignments.
    5. Remove any assigned groups, users or devices.
    6. Review and save your changes.
  3. Note the configuration settings:
    1. Go to Apps > Manage apps > Configuration.
    2. Select the Configuration Policy currently used for Smoothwall Filter.
    3. Select Properties.
    4. In the Configuration settings section, make a copy of the Configuration keys and values used. You will need these when you create the new Managed App profile.
  4. Remove the old Configuration Profile:
    1. In Properties, select Edit next to Assignments.
    2. Remove any assigned groups, users or devices.
    3. Select Review + Save.
