To comply with best practices and compatibility with all major web browsers, Smoothwall On-Premise Appliance certificates for services have fixed validity periods:
- Certificate Authorities (CAs): 24 months.
- Dynamic Certificates: 13 months.
You can’t extend these validity periods.
To prevent service interruptions, set a reminder to renew your CAs before they expire.
