When your organisation starts using Smoothwall Filter, these default HTTPS Inspection Policies are automatically applied to ensure Smoothwall can filter content:
- Do not inspect the Authentication exceptions and Online Banking categories.
- Decrypt and inspect for Everything else.
If your policies look different to what’s shown below, you can:
- Add new HTTPS Inspection Policies.
- Change the order, edit or delete your policies.
- Add trusted sites to your Authentication exceptions category to save computing power and prevent issues with websites that won’t work when being inspected.
We recommend you have a policy to Decrypt and inspect Everyone Everything Everywhere Always.
