The DHCP relay forwards all DHCP requests to another DHCP server and reroute DHCP responses back to the requesting host.
Note: DHCP relaying must be turned on. You can do this on the Global page, see our help topic, Turning on the DHCP service.
Procedure
- On the SERVICES menu, under the DHCP submenu, click DHCP relay.
- Under the DHCP relay section, enter the Primary DHCP server IP address details. This is the value that a requesting network host will receive for the primary DNS server it should use.
- Optionally, enter the Secondary DHCP server IP address details. This is the value that a requesting network host will receive for the secondary DNS server it should use.
- Click Save.
