Configuring the DHCP relay

The DHCP relay forwards all DHCP requests to another DHCP server and reroute DHCP responses back to the requesting host.

Note: DHCP relaying must be turned on. You can do this on the Global page, see our help topic, Turning on the DHCP service.

Procedure

1. On the SERVICES menu, under the DHCP submenu, click DHCP relay.
2. Under the DHCP relay section, enter the Primary DHCP server IP address details. This is the value that a requesting network host will receive for the primary DNS server it should use.
3. Optionally, enter the Secondary DHCP server IP address details. This is the value that a requesting network host will receive for the secondary DNS server it should use.
4. Click Save.
