When Anti-malware is on, you can configure the message that shows on the Status page when users download files:
- Go to Guardian > Anti-malware > Status page.
- Choose a Status page title. The default is: ‘Downloading %%FILENAME%% (%%FILESIZE%% bytes)’ where the file name and size in bytes are shown.
- Enter the text to appear After download. The default is: ‘Download complete. Now scanning…’
- Enter the text to appear After scan. The default is: ‘File scanned. Click on the following link to retrieve your file.’
- Configure the Auto-start downloads checkbox:
- Select this checkbox to redirect the browser to download the file to the user’s computer after scanning confirms it doesn’t contain malware.
- Leave this checkbox clear to refresh the Status page while downloading and scanning, then show a link the user must select to download the file to their computer.
- Select Save.
When a user tries to download a file set to be scanned as a result of your Anti-malware policies, the Status page will show to the user. The user can select More details to view information about the file or Cancel to close the message and cancel the download.
