An IT Contact is a role for your internal IT support team members. They can only see active devices and licensing information. They can’t access any other features or information in the Portal. Furthermore, they will not be able to see any reported events.
Creating an IT Contact
Note: To create an IT contact, you have to be logged into the portal with an IT or Safeguarding account.
- Go to your Smoothwall Portal home page.
- Select Monitor.
- Select Edit for your required Organisation.
- Select IT Contacts from the sidebar.
- Select Add contact.
- Enter a Name, Email Address and Phone Number.
- Select Save.
