A Limited Safeguarding Contact has more limited access to Smoothwall Monitor than the Safeguarding Contact. They can only view and receive email alerts and phone calls for an alerting profile they have been added to.

Creating a Limited Safeguarding Contact

Note: To create a Limited Safeguarding contact, you have to be logged into the portal with a Safeguarding account.

1. Go to your Smoothwall Portal home page.
2. Select Monitor.

3. Select Edit on your required Organisation.

4. Select Limited Safeguarding contacts from the sidebar.

5. Select Add contact.

6. Enter a Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Mobile Number (Optional) and Notes.
   Note: Adding an optional note can help Smoothwall Moderators to provide a more efficient service. For example, if the contact doesn’t work on a particular day, Moderators will avoid calling them on that day.
7. Select Save.
