This article contains the steps that you need to take to set up the the ITV Player - Enforce Parental Guidance Lock content modification and a screenshot of how it should look when it is being applied correctly.
When allowing the ITV Player category in a normal web filter policy, all content in the ITV Player is allowed by default. We have added a content modification category that enforces the parental guidance lock on ITV Player.
Procedure
Create a new policy with these settings, see our help topic, Creating content modification policies:
- Who: "Everyone*"
- What: "ITV Player"
- Where: "Everywhere*"
- Action: "Apply ITV Player - Enforce Parental Guidance Lock [New]"
* Change Who, Where and When as appropriate.
When the content modification is correctly applied, users will see the message shown when they click play on any video that has a guidance rating and they won't be able to play the video.
