Many educational websites have embedded Vimeo videos, so you may wish to block access to Vimeo.com but allow access to specific videos on Vimeo or embedded on third-party sites.
Prerequisites
As Vimeo defaults to HTTPS, you must enable a HTTPS Decrypt and Inspect policy.

Block Vimeo
Vimeo content is part of the Streaming Media category. As this is part of the Core Blocked Content Web Filter policy, Vimeo is blocked by default, so you don't need to block it.

- Enter these into the Domain/URL filtering section:
- player-telemetry.vimeo.com
- vimeocdn.com
- Enter the video IDs for the Vimeo videos you want to allow into the Advanced > Video ID filtering section. The ID is the 9-digit number at the end of the URL.
- Set up a Web Filter policy for your custom category with Allow as the Action.
- Order this Allow policy above your Block policy for Core Blocked Content.
Allow Vimeo
