If you see the Smoothwall block page when trying to access Dropbox, follow these steps.
Step 1: Add Authentication exception
- Ensure your users log in to authenticate their browsing session.
- Close all instances of Dropbox.
- Add an Authentication Exception for dropbox.com
Step 2: Create HTTPS Inspection policy
Create a HTTPS inspection policy for Dropbox, with Validate certificate only as the Action.
Step 3: Create Web Filter Policy
- Create a Web Filter Policy for the Dropbox category, with Allow as the Action.
- Move this Web Filter Policy above any Web Filter Policies that block file and image hosting.
