Block Snapchat

  1. To block Snapchat for all users or a chosen group of users in your school or organization, first create a new category with a logical name such as ‘Snapchat’.
  2. To block Snapchat you need to block the sites and addresses used by Snapchat. Add the following addresses and URLs to the category:
    • 74.125.203.141
    • feelinsonice.appspot.com
    • appspot.l.google.com
    • appspot.l.google.com
    • data.flurry.com
  3. Either create a block policy, or add the above category to an existing block policy. See Creating web filter policies. * Change as appropriate
    • Who: Everyone *
    • What: Snapchat
    • Where: Everywhere *
    • Action: Block
