Categorisation Release Notes

21 June - 4 July 2025

  • Improvements to these categories: Blogs, Travel, Cryptocurrency, What's my IP services, Food and Dining, Agriculture.
  • Improved the example URLs in our Blocklist Categories list.
  • Fixed an issue with background traffic showing in logs and reports, due to it being treated as level 3 instead of the correct log level.

  • Improvements to these categories: Gaming Resources, Educational Games, Video Games, Medical Information, Legal, Discussion Forums.
  • The Force SafeSearch Content Modification applies to All the Internet and Mojeek.
  • Better categorisation for URLs containing special characters when using one of the Agents and Extensions.

  • The Google - Remove lyrics from search results Content Modification is now available in On-Premise Appliance.
  • Fixed an issue with the Enforce Google Image Licence Content Modification where a user accessed images and returned to all search results, but no results were shown.
  • The Force SafeSearch Content Modification applies to iZito and Visymo, for On-Premise Appliance only.
  • You can now allow access to videos on youHQ while blocking YouTube. Place a Web Filter Policy to Allow the youHQ category above any policy to Block the YouTube category.
  • Improved how Microsoft Office 365 traffic is sorted into Log Levels.
  • Improved content analysis to better block adult content on X (Twitter).
  • Minor improvements to reduce false positive Safeguarding Alerts for the Weapons category.
  • Added over 1000 Google documents containing lists of Web Proxies, Video Games, and Piracy sites to the Web Proxy category.
