This article applies to organisations with a 'Hybrid' setup (both On-Premise Appliance and Cloud), as well as On-Premise only and Cloud only setups.
If you use a firewall or filtering system other than Smoothwall, allow these domains in those systems to ensure connectivity to Smoothwall and other Qoria services, such as Monitor.
You don’t need to do this if you only use Smoothwall products for filtering and firewalling because Smoothwall automatically allows traffic from these domains.
Notes
- Ensure that all web domains are accessible to Cloud Filter clients and the On-Premise Appliance so that Smoothwall can filter content.
- Some systems require domains in a specific format. Check their documentation for details.
- Using *. includes all subdomains beneath the listed domain.
