Changing the keyboard layout

If you have a Smoothwall Filter and Firewall hardware appliance, you can maintain it directly by plugging a monitor and USB keyboard into it. Typically, you can select the keyboard layout during installation. However, you can also change the layout after in the administration user interface.

Procedure

1. On the SYSTEM menu, under the Hardware submenu, click Console.
2. Under the Console section, from the Keyboard layout list, select the keyboard layout that best describes the keyboard that is attached to the Software.
3. Click Save changes.
