Running configuration reports

Use this page to export the Smoothwall’s system configuration to a text file to aid troubleshooting.

Note: All configuration options are selected by default. However, the options available depend on the configuration of your Smoothwall.

Procedure

1. On the SYSTEM menu, under the Diagnostics submenu, click Configuration report.
2. Under the System and Module sections, clear any selected options that you don't want to export.
3. Click Generate and when prompted, save the results in a suitable location for review.
   • System Exports the configuration for the system component to the text file. All configuration options are selected to be included by default. However, the export options available depend on the configuration of your Smoothwall.
   • Modules Exports all the configuration for the modules to the text file. All configuration options are selected to be included by default. However, the export options available depend on the configuration of your Smoothwall.
