Adding allowed addresses to the outgoing SMTP email relay

You can control the email traffic that the Smoothwall Filter and Firewall allows through, based on the originating IP address or subnet.

Procedure

1. On the EMAIL menu, under the SMTP submenu, click Outgoing.
2. Under the Add allowed address section, enter the IP or subnet to relay from for the address or subnets of devices on the local network that are to be allowed to relay email. For example: 192.168.10.10.
3. Enter a descriptive Comment, make sure that the Enabled option is selected and click Add.
