This article applies to organisations with a 'Hybrid' setup (both On-Premise Appliance and Cloud), as well as On-Premise only and Cloud only setups.
Time slots can be used in Web Filter Policies in the When field to only apply the policy at certain times.
On-Premise Appliance
Add a time slot
- Go to Guardian > Policy objects > Time slots.
- In the Manage time slots section, enter a name and an optional comment.
- Select the times for the time slot using Edit in full-text mode or Edit in chart mode.
- Select Save.
Edit or delete a time slot
To edit a time slot:
- Go to Guardian > Policy objects > Time slots.
- In the Time slots table, select the pencil icon.
- Edit in full-text mode or chart mode.
- Select Save.
To delete a time slot:
- Go to Guardian > Policy objects > Time slots.
- Select the X icon.
Cloud Filter
Add a time slot
- Go to Filter > Time slots.
- If you are part of a multi-tenant setup, use the All section or select a tenant.
- Select Add time slot.
- Enter a name and an optional description.
- Select the days of the week the time slot applies to.
- Select the start and end times.
- Select +Add new row to add another time slot, or Add time slot to set up the time slot.
- Go to Publishing from the left-hand menu and select Publish.
Edit or delete a time slot
To edit a time slot:
- Go to Filter > Time Slots.
- Select the time slot.
- Make your changes.
- Go to Publishing from the left-hand menu and select Publish.
To delete a time slot:
- Go to Filter > Time Slots.
- Right-click over the time slot, and select Delete time slot.
- Go to Publishing from the left-hand menu and select Publish.
